Beauty in the Simple Things April 28, 2008

What I see... rain pouring outside and the trees swaying in the breeze.
What I smell... is the faint aroma of a damiana chocolate cordial I created this weekend.
What I hear... is the sound of the rain on the roof of the RV.
The weather outside is... damp, rainy, and cold.
I'm wearing... is my comfy sweats, long sleeve white henley and a pair of Mike's socks.
I've been watching... lots of new episodes of Dirty Jobs, Man vs. Wild, Cash Cab, and Myth Busters... all on the Discovery Channel! Also catching up and waiting, with bated breath, for the next season of Burn Notice on USA.
In the Herbal Home, I'm currently brewing...... new oils, new springtime medicines, and preparing for the warmer months.
What I'm creating...... class materials, medicines, Shade Tree Cottage and Herbals products, Il Bella Fiore cards, curtains for the camper and more!
Our Homeschool... is busy with outdoor plans: building the solar dehydrators, working on solar shower and water heater, working around home base and campers and will be spending lots of time with me at gardens and CSA.
Carla's Country Kitchen is making... a big pot of homemade spagetti sauce with meatballs... some greens sauteed in garlic and olive oil, and some rosemary foccacia for dipping.
